Mountain Biking Shopping

Does anyone know a good bike shop in Denver/Aurora that can fix the crankarm on my mountain bike?
The left pedal threads on my mountain bike became stripped while I was out riding the other day and it needs to be “Helicoiled.” This can probably be done at most good bicycle shops, but I’m trying to see if anyone has had a positive experience with a bicycle shop fixing this kind of problem.
Green Mountain Sports and Mojo Wheels have good folks at them. I’ve only visited while vacationing and riding Keystone & Vail, but I was impressed with both of them. There’s another shop that was larger and more flashy, and pretty helpful to my friend when he needed an asap repair on his brakes, but I can’t remember the name of the place. They were a big Specialized dealer, though.
If you have one of the various hollow cranks, a helicoil may or may not last. If it’s a run of the mill aluminum arm, you’re probably ok. If they’ll do it cheap it may be worth trying, but there’s always the rather inexpensive option of having them order just the left arm. Most manufacturers offer their arms separately.
