Mountain Biking Summer Olympics

A math question-Homework help?
In 2004 during the Summer Olympics, Marie Helene Permont of Quebec won the silver medal in the women’s mountain bike race. She completed 31.3 km in 1 hour 57 minutes and 50 seconds.
A) Determine Permont’s average speed in km/h
B) At this rate how long would she take to complete a course of 45 km. Express in hours, minutes and seconds.
Thank You
A)Change 1 hour, 57 minutes and 50 seconds to hours:
1 + 57/60 + 50/3600 = 1.963888888 (~1.96)
and then divide 31.3 by that number:
31.3/1.96388888 = 15.93777 (~15.94 km/h)
B) Divide 45 km by that speed (15.94 km/h) to get 2.82348 hr (I left the unrounded number on the calculator at each step)
Subtract the 2 hr, multiply what’s left by 60 to get 49.4089 minutes, subtract 49 minutes and multiply what’s left by 60 again (60×60 = 3600) to get 24.5 seconds.
So 45 km would take 2 hr, 49 minutes, 25 seconds
