Mountain Biking Whidbey Island
whats the best bike for me?
hi, I am moving to Whidbey island and need a mountain bike for riding around, I can spend a sum of at least $200, I’ve tried mongooses but over time they will brake easy. I need a bike that won’t “wear and tear” but also runs smoothly, any suggestions?
Choice “A” – keep saving.
Choice “B” – look for a quality used bike on craigslist.
$200 will not buy much in the way of a new mountain bike. Just the same old crappy discount store junk. Looked at Bikes Direct yet? Still over your $200 price. But a good place to find one below retail.
