Spin Mountain Bike Wheels
Mountain Bike front Disc Brake Problems?
When I pull the brake at my handle bars my front disc brakes do not work. There is no pressure applied to the front wheel and the wheel continues to spin. My bike is a 2009 Kona One20 and the brakes are Shimano SLX Hydraulic Disc and the brake levers are Shimano SLX Hydraulic. I would like to fix this myself so if you could please point me in the right direction. Please suggest resources that I can turn to when I attempt to fix this problem. Thanks for the help!
There may be a leak in your hydraulic line, you should check for any fluid escaping. Check to see how worn your brake pads are. It could just be that the brakes need bleeding. Any one of these 3 things could cause the problem. If it is nothing obvious you may have to get a good mechanic to check things over.
