How I can fix my derailleur?

my two derailleurs do not work properly on my mountain bike. my only sometimes not reduce, but rarely. so when you go to three, doens't change unless you really press hard. also for my back. If you go from 1 to 2, not moves in two, unless you go to 3. and when you go to 4, which actually moves in three, and so change, sometimes in their own modifications and sorta again. How I can fix it? simply adjust the cable? How? thanks!

You need to adjust the servo on the rear derailleur barrel and lever left. The cables tend to stretch as it is used. That is where the rear derailleur cable is connected, not an expert in some potholes in it. If it turns out (cons left) to move the lever down.
