I just bought a new mountain bike and the brakes squeal. Is this normal?
It turns on and off. Sometimes I break without warning and other squeaks sometimes. It's so embarrassing. It seems that I have a bike whore when in fact very expensive.
Loved brakes are standard, there is friction between the tire and Breakpad. Do not put lubricant on the brake pads at all. You can lubricate moving parts if you feel you need it, but this does not prevent the grinding.
