Born in Warwick Rhode Island, Monique made the pilgrimage to Boise Idaho where she eagerly embraced all the states offerings. Principal among the offerings is the boundless single track located in and around the Boise Front Range. Just recently Monique relocated to Salt Lake City, Utah as a Six Sigma Black Belt with Albertsons Inc. (SuperValu). The trails of the Wasatch will present much the same allure that compelled her to come west in the first place.

Monique began racing mountain bikes in 2002 and is in her third year as a member of Team Tamarack. She began her racing career competing as an expert and has experienced great success with podium finishes at both the State and National level. New horizons lie ahead for Monique in the 2007 racing season as she has made the jump to the elite ranks of Pro.
