Did i pay too much for GT Avalanche bike judging from its features?
I bought it off eBay and i got a bit carried away when the auction was finishing, it closed for £240 and has the following features below, my main bug bear about it is the lack of disc brakes but is that really a big deal or not? Anyway the guy said he would take it back, but is it worth keeping?

Maybe. Laws of probabilities would say that you could get a better deal somewhere else in the world. The longer you keep the bike and maintain a high level of working order the return will be enormous. Where we lose money is when we pay for bicycles and treadmills and the collect dust or rust to death in the garage. It looks like you have a nice bike, now go ride it.
Best.
